In the bustling town of Cleveland, there lived a man named Greg who was the reigning champion of overthinking. One day, he decided to buy a new toaster. Simple, right? As he stood in the appliance aisle, he was immediately overwhelmed. “Should I go with the classic chrome or the trendy matte black? What if the chrome clashes with my kitchen? But the matte black might absorb too much heat!” After an hour of deliberation, he finally chose the chrome toaster, only to panic about the bread. “What if I only eat gluten-free bread? Will the toaster even toast it properly? What if it catches fire?”
He bought the toaster, but on the way home, he couldn’t stop worrying. “What if I don’t have enough counter space? What if my cat, Mr. Whiskers, decides to jump on it and gets electrocuted?” Once home, he unboxed the toaster and stared at it for a solid ten minutes. “What if it’s not the right toaster for my life’s journey?” Finally, he plugged it in, and as it popped up his first slice of toast, he sighed in relief. “Phew! At least I didn’t overthink the butter!” And with that, Greg learned that sometimes, toast is just toast!
