Description
Once upon a time in the quirky town of Quibbleton, there lived a man named Ned who prided himself on never being wrong. He wore a badge that read, “Always Right!” and had a pet parrot named Polly who echoed, “Ned’s never wrong!” One day, Ned confidently declared that the sun rose in the west. The townsfolk chuckled, but he insisted, “I’m never wrong!” So, they decided to test him. They set up a sunrise party in the west, complete with pancakes and party hats. As the sun began to rise, everyone gathered, waiting for Ned’s triumphant moment. But to his horror, the sun rose in the east, just as it always had.
The townsfolk erupted in laughter, and Ned, flustered, shouted, “It’s just a trick! The sun is playing hide and seek!” Polly squawked, “Ned’s never wrong!” but even she sounded unsure. Determined to save face, Ned declared, “I meant the *other* sun!” The townsfolk rolled their eyes, but they couldn’t help but admire his creativity. From that day on, Ned became the town’s official “Sun Consultant,” and Polly? She learned to say, “Ned’s sometimes right!” And so, in Quibbleton, being wrong became the new right!
