One day, Sam decided to wear his favorite shirt that read “BUFFERING…” in big, bold letters. He thought it was hilarious and a perfect conversation starter. As he walked into the office, he strutted around like he was the king of the tech world. His coworker, Lisa, raised an eyebrow and asked, “What’s with the shirt?” Sam grinned, “It’s a metaphor for my life—always loading!” He chuckled, but Lisa just rolled her eyes. Throughout the day, Sam proudly explained his shirt to anyone who would listen. “You see, it’s like when you’re waiting for a video to load. That’s me, just buffering!”
But instead of laughter, he got a lot of confused looks. At lunch, he decided to show off his shirt to the new intern. “What do you think?” he asked. The intern squinted and replied, “Are you okay? Do you need help?” Realizing he might have missed the mark, Sam laughed it off. “I guess I’m just a work in progress!” By the end of the day, he learned that sometimes, the best jokes are the ones that don’t land. But hey, at least he was the most memorable guy in the office—just buffering!
