Teachers Are Overpaid

One day, Max stumbled upon a t-shirt that read, “Teachers Are Overpaid.” He couldn’t resist the urge to buy it, thinking it would be a hilarious conversation starter. “This will definitely ruffle some feathers!” he chuckled to himself. The next day, he wore the shirt to a family gathering. As soon as he walked in, his Aunt Linda, a retired teacher, spotted him. “Max! What on earth are you wearing?” she exclaimed, hands on her hips. “Just a little sarcasm, Aunt Linda!” he replied, grinning. “I mean, how hard can it be to teach kids?” She raised an eyebrow. “Oh really? You think it’s easy to manage a classroom full of energetic kids?”

“Sure! Just give them snacks and let them watch cartoons, right?” he shot back, trying to keep a straight face. His younger cousin, Timmy, chimed in, “But what if they throw the snacks?” “Exactly!” Aunt Linda said, pointing at Max. “And what if they don’t pay attention?” Max laughed, realizing he might have bitten off more than he could chew. “Okay, okay! Maybe teachers deserve a raise!” By the end of the night, he was convinced that sarcasm was best left for the t-shirt rack—and maybe a little more respect for teachers was in order!
