One sunny afternoon, Dave was lounging on his couch, flipping through channels, when he stumbled upon an old episode of “Diff’rent Strokes.” Suddenly, he heard Arnold shout, “What you talking about, Willis?” Dave chuckled, thinking about how often he used that phrase in his own life. Inspired, he decided to make it his new catchphrase. The next day at work, his boss, Mr. Thompson, called him into his office. “Dave, I need you to finish that report by noon.” Without missing a beat, Dave replied, “What you talking about, Willis?”

Mr. Thompson blinked, clearly confused. “I’m not Willis, and you need to get that report done!” Dave grinned, thinking he was hilarious. Throughout the day, he dropped the phrase in every conversation. When his coworker asked if he wanted coffee, he said, “What you talking about, Willis?” When the printer jammed, he exclaimed, “What you talking about, Willis?” By the end of the day, his coworkers were rolling their eyes. “Dave, you’re not even making sense!” one said. Finally, at the end of the day, Dave realized he might be the only one who found it funny. But hey, at least he was what Willis was talking about—confused and proud!
