Description
In the bustling town of Grumbleton, there lived a woman named Lucy who had a unique relationship with her medication. It was supposed to help her deal with people, but lately, it felt like she was overdosing on social interactions. One sunny afternoon, Lucy decided to attend the annual Grumbleton Picnic, armed with her trusty meds and a determination to be friendly. As she approached the picnic, she was immediately bombarded by her overly enthusiastic neighbor, Mrs. Jenkins, who was convinced that her pet parrot could predict the weather. “Lucy! Did you know Polly can tell if it’s going to rain?”
Mrs. Jenkins chirped, as Polly squawked, “Rainy day!” Lucy smiled, but inside, her meds were screaming, “Limit exceeded!” Next, she encountered the town’s self-proclaimed “Gossip Guru,” Mr. Thompson, who launched into a 20-minute monologue about the neighbor’s cat’s diet. “Did you know Mr. Whiskers is on a gluten-free diet?” he asked, eyes wide with excitement. Lucy’s brain was now a chaotic carnival, and she could feel her meds waving a white flag. Finally, she muttered, “I think I need a nap!” and fled to her couch, where the only chatter was the TV. “Ah, sweet silence!” she sighed.
